A way we hurt ourselves is to punish ourselves and wish for that punishment to be non human tolerable. alone hears jman has some regrets to work on. No one will ever love you. Alone hears punishment here also, humans crave love. Blocking it from ever being a possibility is self punishment. You know your dog loves you.(lowest one to challenge) alone hears jman is hurting and can't feel anything at this time but pain. jman does not feel safe at this time to be alone, he has a room mate which is a safe step for him.
