A mathematical function is walking down the street.
Suddenly appears a threatening operator saying "I'm going differentiate you".
"You can't harm me", says the function, "I'm e^x".
"I don't care", says the operator, "I'm d/dy".

I don't even know what those jokes mean, but I laughed anyway.  I'm easily amused
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience."- C.S. Lewis

i wish i was your derivative, so i could lie tangent to your curves
i wish i was your problem set, because then i'd be really hard, and you'd be doing me on the desk
i wish i was sin^2 and you were cos^2 because then we'd be 1 <3
