languish a daisy
in mid-august sun
awaiting a morrow
when summer is done

withered and wilted
from autumn's cool breath
anticipating
the winter's sweet death

springtime arrives
the cycle begins
on fragile green wings
birth growth and the end.

Very nice, Liz. 

But on a critical note, the last paragraph doesn't scan as well as the first two...
