The way to use is simple:

Note that you do have to have a color and dark text against a blue background sucks!!
but against a cyan it should look better:

You are not supposed to use the code-button for working codes. It is used only if you want to show the code as it is being writtten. For workin code just type or copy/paste the line(s) of code into the text.
but...but... it's a button!! It should be easy like that!

NS, the code block is what you use for code you don't want to execute. It's just to show how to use something.
